I went ahead and confirmed with Airstream that you your specific model of Bambi could have a 3500 pound axle or a higher capacity which is where some of the confusion may arise. There are definitely weight distribution hitches that have a 2" ball for your 2" coupler or in some cases you can swap out the ball. When choosing a WDH tongue weight is the most important factor.
